Hutlink.yum.com (the “Site”) provides authorized individuals the opportunity to access information related to Pizza Hut, LLC. (“PHLLC”) and its business.  For clarification, PHLLC may also be referred to as “we” and “our.” Access to the Site and/or its contents is limited only to authorized individuals who are current employees or contractors of: (i) PHLLC, (ii) franchisee or licensee of Pizza Hut (collectively, “Franchisee”); or (iv) approved supplier, agency or consultants of Pizza Hut (collectively “Vendor”).  If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should cease use of this Site immediately.
 

Collecting and Processing Personal Information

In order to administer this Site effectively, you must register on this Site.  Once you are registered on the Site, we collect a variety of information about you, which may include: name, address, telephone number, email addresses, account username and password, and any other information you may voluntarily provide through this Site (hereinafter defined as “Personal Information”). After registering, we will use your Personal Information for any of the following purposes:  (1) to administer this Site (including how this Site is used and how to making any on-going improvements); (2) to register users for online activities; (3) to respond to specific requests from users; (4) to protect the security or integrity of this Site, if necessary; or (5) to comply with applicable law or legal process.

In addition to adhering to this Policy, and other policies and procedures regarding the privacy of personal information that PHLLC has in place, when your Personal Information is transferred from the EEA, Argentina, etc. to PHLLC in third countries, we require the recipient entity to enter into a contract regarding the use and processing of that information which incorporates certain standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission of the European Union.

(“PHLLC”) and its business.  For clarification, PHLLC may also be referred to as “we” and “our.” Access to the Site and/or its contents is limited only to authorized individuals who are current employees or contractors of: (i) PHLLC, (ii) franchisee or licensee of Pizza Hut (collectively, “Franchisee”); or (iv) approved supplier, agency or consultants of Pizza Hut (collectively “Vendor”).  These terms of use (“Terms of Use,” "Terms") govern your use of the Site. 

If you do not agree with these Terms of Use, you should cease use of this Site immediately.
 

Intellectual Property

This Site and all materials contained herein comprise trade secrets, marketing strategies and plans, HR policies, strategies and programs, and any other confidential, proprietary information (the "Materials") of PHLLC.  All Materials have been developed by PHLLC for its internal use.  Any and all Materials, communications, related documents and other information posted to this Site shall remain the exclusive property of PHLLC; provided, however, with regard to the ideas and information posted to the Best Practices Section on this Site (hereinafter the “Practices”), if you submit Practices to this Section, you acknowledge and agree that the Practices (i) become the property of the PHLLC company-owned restaurants and franchised restaurants (collectively defined as the “Pizza Hut System”,) (ii) will be shared with the Pizza Hut System, and (3) may be used or modified by members of the Pizza Hut System in the members sole discretion.  The Materials are intended to be possessed, read, and otherwise used only by persons who are both (1) employees, representatives,  or  agencies  of  PHLLC  or  certain  of  its  Franchisees  or  Vendors  AND  (2)  are  specifically authorized to possess, read, and otherwise use the Materials.  Furthermore, PHLLC holds all rights to copyright for the Materials and the Materials cannot be reprinted or reproduced, in whole or in part, in any manner whatsoever, without the express written consent of PHLLC or unless and to the limited extent that duplication may be specifically authorized and outlined within certain project or informational sections of the Site.  Any use of the Materials by any unauthorized person or entity, as well as any unauthorized use by any person or entity, may lead to civil and criminal prosecution.

While you may find these Materials and Practices useful, by providing these Materials and Practices, PHLLC does not in any way represent or warrant any particular results or that these Materials and Practices reflect the costs/financials or needs of your Pizza Hut® stores.  Before making use of these Materials, we urge you to consult your own financial and legal advisors.  Further, PHLLC disclaims any obligation to either (1) update the Materials and Practices, or (2) format them for your specific use or for compliance with any requirements that may apply to your business.  As a condition to PHLLC making these Materials and Practices available to Franchisees and Vendors, you agree (1) to be responsible, as provided in your Pizza Hut Franchise or License Agreement, for certain claims that may arise regarding the operation of your business, and (2) to indemnify PHLLC for the same, including, without limitation, any claims relating to your decision to use the Materials and Practices.
